Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) is the formal evaluation and credit-granting process through which mature students may obtain credits for prior learning - the knowledge and skills that adults have acquired, in both formal and informal ways, outside secondary school.

Co-operative Education allows you, to earn credits and gain practical workplace experience as you work toward an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students earn co-operative education credits by integrating classroom theory with planned learning experiences in the community.
Specialized Co-op is a new program available to students who have left school prior to fulfilling their graduation requirements. You will have found employment or a volunteer position. You will keep your job while working on an online or correspondence course and earning two co-op credits for a total of three credits.Read More
